The 1900 Island shortlisted for 2019 Grierson Award
Wildflame are delighted to announce that The 1900 Island has been shortlisted in the prestigious 2019 Grierson Awards under the Best Constructed Documentary Series category.

Shortlisted entries go through to the next round of judging by independent panels, meeting in mid-September to select a final four nominations in each category. The nominations will be published by The Grierson Trust on 19 September.
The awards – which take place at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, London on the evening of Thursday, 14 November – recognise and celebrate documentaries from Britain and abroad that have made a significant contribution to the genre and that demonstrate quality, integrity, creativity, originality and overall excellence.
